Our Love Story
Eric and I met online a few years back. We immediately clicked and knew there was something special! Everything was just so easy right from the start. About a year later, we were in full swing of the planning stage of building our house together. After an appointment to pick out the final touches we went to the homesite “just to take a peek and snap some pictures”.
After the pictures were taken, Eric started talking about our future and how this was where it was starting together. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Right there on the land of our future home! I couldn’t have been more surprised and was ecstatic! Of course I said Yes!
Our Wedding Video
Hiring the right wedding videographer was very important to us. Everyone had always told me your wedding day with fly by and you won’t remember everything. They couldn’t have been more right. I’m so glad we had the videographer there capturing the little moments we may have missed and reliving our favorite ones of the day.
I love that I get to relive the best day of my life whenever I want. They captured every emotion of the day. I still tear up every time I watch it.
Our Wedding Memories
We just wanted a classic spring wedding with a few personal touches. We wanted the colors to be bright and warm; nothing too crazy. We had the most perfect spring weather that day and are so thankful!
My favorite moment was when they opened the church doors and I finally got to see my husband at the end of the aisle looking at me. All my nerves and anxieties about all the people there immediately went away when I saw him.
My second favorite moment was when I had my first look with my dad. It was so special and I know that moment meant a lot to both of us. I am his little girl and in that moment he saw me as a new wife.We played I Get to Love You by Ruelle. We chose it because the lyrics really felt like they told our story. The lyrics “I prayed for you before I called you mine”- we both had known our soulmate was out there and when we met we finally realized it was true! We both feel so lucky that we get to love each other.
