Our Real Wedding: June 21, 2019
“Daniel was our professional wedding videographer and he was prompt, hard working, and overall very kind. He worked so hard that he was sweating by the end of the night, and Michael and I HIGHLY recommend him! Everything we experienced with Mike Staff was amazing as well, everyone was kind, helpful, and prompt with answering all of my questions! Mike Staff Productions was a great company to have apart of our day!”

Our Love Story
My fiance and I have been together now for 11 years. We began dating when we were only 14 years old. We were so excited for this moment in our lives to happen! We both knew a proposal was coming, but I had no idea when, my guess would be in the winter. However, Michael began taking me on different random dates, he said this is how he was going to throw me off, I would never know what date might be the proposal!
So one July afternoon Michael picked me up and began driving, I didn’t know where too. He played all of our favorite songs throughout the years and ended with our favorite as we pulled up to the fountain at Belle Isle in Detroit. We began walking to the fountain when I wanted to put, my purse in the car. He was so nervous he left the care unlocked with the keys in the ignition still running! After a good laugh, we went to the fountain and he got down on one knee and proposed. He even had his sister hiding so she could photograph the whole thing! His words were kind and loving and I was over the moon with happiness and love! He had a whole dinner planned that evening, but I was so excited I made him go home where we celebrated with family!
Our Wedding Vision
My overall vision was a fairytale. I wanted a Cinderella gown, the big Catholic church, and I wanted my reception venue to be timeless, romantic, and elegant all with touches of the outside feel coming into the ballroom. My wedding florist Kaila at The Flower Alley, absolutely made my dreams come to life! It was everything I ever wanted and more!
Our Wedding Video
To me, a wedding day is very special and sentimental. I know a lot of people who did not get wedding videos and later regret it. I remember growing up, watching my parents wedding video with them. I would watch it over and over again and I loved it. I wanted to be able to share my day with my kids one day and to be able to go back and relive those memories. Your wedding day is over in the blink of an eye, and yes photos are important, but some little moment and some quick words can be missed, but with a professional wedding videographer they are constantly capturing all of the special moments for you!
Our Favorite Wedding Memories
Honestly, I don’t think there was a single moment I didn’t love from our wedding day. However, I would have to say one moment I loved was walking down the aisle. Watching Michaels reaction made me feel fully loved and right before I walked down I had the support and love from my father. It was surreal to see everyone there who supports us, but I really focused on the moment at the back of the church with my dad to be handed off to Michael it was just a moment just surrounded in love and raw emotions.
Another moment I loved was sneaking into our reception venue early, it was just me and Michael (along with some other vendors), but in that moment we were in a way alone, enjoying just the company of each other and being able to see all of our hard work and ideas come to life. We were able to enjoy it and enjoy a bit a silence just the two of us to fully take in what was happening that day. It was amazing!
