Our Love Story
On the night before Christmas Eve last year, Dylan proposed in Hart Plaza in Detroit under marquee Marry Me lights with a red carpet and Christmas music playing in the background. It was a dream come true!
Our Wedding Vision
The most important thing to us was the experience for all of the guests of our wedding. We knew we wanted a large wedding, which was difficult to do with Covid.
With this being said, we wanted to make our wedding fun for everyone who attended. We made sure to include every special touch we could, including a cigar table, sushi table, and a massive dessert table that had something that suited everyone!
We had to change our wedding venue due to Covid. When we changed to Oakhurst, they went over and beyond to accommodate our wedding with adhering by all Covid protocols/standards. They made sure all our dreams came true. Lindsay, their event planner is AMAZING!
Wedding Photography Experience
Our wedding photographers, Mark and David went over and beyond. Not only did they come up with the most creative poses, but they were willing to try whatever we wanted, including hiking up into the pines!
The week before the wedding, we made a list with our photographers of all the pictures we wanted. On the day of the wedding, they had that list in front of them and made sure we had every picture we wanted taken. Looking through the pictures, we made the best decision using Mike Staff!
Wedding Videography Experience
Wedding videography was important to us because we want to be able to look back and relive the best day of our lives. We want to be able to see who was there with us and reflect on the times we had.
Dylan is from California, so there were a lot of guests that could not attend. The photos and video will help us share our wedding experience with those who could not be with us.
Our Favorite Moments
The bride’s absolute favorite moment was being up in front of everyone during the ceremony, realizing that this moment is actually real and happening! The groom’s favorite moment was us being on the dance floor, surrounded in a circle by our family and friends.
