Bower’s Farm Wedding of Sarah and James: October 08, 2022
The Mike Staff Productions Experience: “100/10. We questioned using ‘one vendor’ for everything but we would do it all over again. We booked Mike Staff at the somewhat of a last minute and we locked in the remaining videographer, 2 photographers and DJ that were available for our wedding day. With the luck of the draw, we couldn’t be happier.” – Happy bride, Sarah
Our Love Story
James proposed to me in the middle of a photoshoot with our children, he completely surprised me. He had planned with the photographer without my knowledge. The photographer captured the proposal on film, it was a flawless execution. It was so special having our children present, their reaction was priceless.
Wedding DJ Experience
Kurt was phenomenal and more than we could’ve asked for from a wedding DJ. He put us at ease from the very first conversation and helped us to create a timeline that was realistic. He was laid back and knowledgeable. As far as the wedding night, he was perfect. We received so many compliments and we truly feel Kurt helped to make the night.
We chose Joy of My Life by Chris Stapleton for our first dance song. He’s one of our favorite artists and we love that song.
Wedding Photography Experience
Don’t get us started, our wedding photographers were amazing. Mary, her assistant, and John were unbelievable. Especially having had experiences in the past with photographers I didn’t necessarily feel comfortable around, this team nailed it. They went above and beyond helping through stressful situations, working with the team to keep us on track for the day, and even help me put on my wedding dress, ha! The photographers handled the family dynamics with care.
Wedding Videography Experience
Our wedding video truly captures all the feels and some of the significant moments throughout the day. It was important for us to feel like we could truly relive our wedding day and it absolutely does just that.
Our Favorite Wedding Memories
So difficult to choose one favorite moment but definitely having our closest family and friends present to celebrate with us. The venue at Bowers was perfect to captured the fun and excitement, we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Our Wedding Advice
We did a lot of things on our own – made artificial centerpieces, the caterer ended up providing food, bar, setup and tear down. We didn’t have a wedding planner. We struggled with creating a timeline and sending it to guests early on with the invites so helping with the DJ/photographer earlier on would’ve been very helpful.
