Our Love Story
Daniel and I met when I was 16 and he was 17. He actually messaged me on Twitter, believe it or not, and it turned out that our families knew each other. We dated through the last bit of high school and all through college (which we attended together at the University of Michigan where Daniel played football). He proposed on our 5th anniversary at a park in Clarkston, MI where my parents got engaged in the 90’s. It was so thoughtful and I am so lucky to be married to such a sweet man!
Our Wedding Vision
I really wanted a traditional, elegant, and classy wedding where all of our family and friends could come together and celebrate. I was so pleased with how everything turned out and I am so appreciative of Mike Staff Productions for capturing our special day!
Wedding Photography Experience
Our wedding photographers, Jenny and David, were amazing! They captured all of our important moments with ease and kept me calm all day. I appreciate all of their efforts and we are so impressed with their work! I will be looking back at these wedding photos, continuously, for years to come.
Wedding DJ Experience
Our professional wedding DJ, DJ Kevin, kept our reception on schedule and our guests “in the know”. He even let our groomsman sing a Sir Mix a Lot song which made our entire night! Lol
We danced to “Then” by Brad Paisley. We chose this song because leading up to our special day we had a hard time choosing a song that really related to our situation and how we felt about one another. We went to a concert during our engagement at Pine Knob and danced to this song and both kind of knew it was the perfect one we were looking for. We thought we loved each other as kids at 16 and 17, but man has our love grown stronger over the years.
Wedding Videography Experience
I knew that a wedding video was a must. It was really important to me that we will always be able to go back and relive our day and see/hear our loved ones. I will always cherish it.
Our Wedding Advice
Start your day as early as possible and try not to rush anything. It goes by so fast and I wish I could do it all over again.
Our Favorite Wedding Memories
We have so many favorites it is hard to pick!!! Between seeing each other for the first time at the altar, to walking in to the reception, cutting the cake and dancing the night away – I wish I could relive the entire celebration!
