The Bonnell Foundation

Mike Staff Productions is honored to work with The Bonnell Foundation for their Night of Hope event as a part of our Heart to Serve initiative. 

There are 30,000 people in the U.S that have CF, but 10 million carriers.  There are one thousand people in Michigan who have CF.  Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that causes chronic and fatal lung infections and interferes with digestion. There is no cure. The average life expectancy for people born today with the disease is 47 years old. Every organ is impacted by the disease. Lung transplants are not a cure, just a temporary fix.  The lucky ones make it through the transplant but are then on transplant meds and CF meds. 

The Bonnell Foundation gives emotional and financial support to parents who have a loved one with cystic fibrosis. The purpose of The Bonnell Foundation is to provide tools to navigate the difficulties of living with cystic fibrosis. With their website, roadmap to CF baskets, academic scholarships, and medical grants, they hope to equip families with a roadmap to guide their way.
